For over 20 years Ashington FC has kept the same core values and ethos that carries us forward today; to offer some of the highest quality coaching and training throughout our year groups. We work hard to provide equal opportunities for all players to participate, to thrive in and to enjoy playing the beautiful game.

We develop the players and coaches whilst educating all involved within the Club on best practice; we are all part of the same vision with a strong focus on offering the highest quality grassroots football to the local community.​

All our teams have a lead coach qualified to at least FA Level 1 and most are supported by other qualified volunteers, all of whom are DBS checked and have completed the FA Safeguarding Children courses.  All teams have a 1st Aider qualified to at least the FA  Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football.

​Through dedication, hard work, and a supportive network and community, we have created a wonderful club which was lucky enough to be recognised in 2015 when we were awarded the FA Charter Standard Development Club of the year for the whole of England.​

Our teams range across multiple age groups from our development age groups (Under 6 and Under 7) to our Under 8s up to Under 16s who then also have the opportunity to feed into our U18 team and on into adult football.​​

Equally exciting, we recently became a FA Girls WildCats Centre offering girls-only football activities for 5-11 year olds (Reception – Y6). This is further testament to the continued development of the Club ethos of ‘Football for All’.​

Delivering the highest quality grassroots football to the local community is at the forefront of our goals. This comes at a cost and we are asking the small business owners and larger companies to join us and secure the future of our club and the opportunities it gives for local players across our age ranges. ​
